Job summary

Egis in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Design Engineer to help shape airport infrastructure. You’ll work on national and international aviation projects, from runways to airfield lighting, coordinating multiple tasks and delivering design reports and technical specifications.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 8+ years in the field, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office. PE preferred, with opportunities for growth within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE designation preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering; aviation knowledge a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced position.
• Goal- and deadline-oriented with strong communication.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting, and navigational aids.
• Prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents.
• Collaborate across disciplines to support general civil design projects and site/water/hydraulic work.
