Job summary

Egis in the U.S. is seeking a Project Manager for general aviation and non-hub airports to lead FAA and State DOT aviation projects, including grants, design, bidding, and construction administration. This role focuses on delivering projects on time and on budget within an assigned client base.

You will ensure compliance with airport master plans, federal grant requirements, FAA/state standards, and project scopes while coordinating engineering teams and preparing bid documents.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design experience on FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Management of portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close out to meet project goals on time and on budget.
• Compliance with objectives contained within the individual airport master plans, federal grant assurance requirements, FAA and state design standards, and a project scope of work.
• Knowledge and application of FAA Advisory Circulars for airport design and construction including runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, grading/drainage, and pavement markings.
• Development of contract specifications and bid estimates.
• Coordination of engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet objectives.
• Accurate daily time keeping
