HomeState in Southern California is seeking a Team Lead for the Kitchen to supervise shifts, train team members, and uphold safety and hospitality standards. You will support ordering, inventory, and shift closures while embodying HomeState’s values of care and community.

This role demands reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Tex Mex kitchen with a focus on guest experience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a professional restaurant kitchen preferred.
• Personable and enjoys working with people and a diverse team.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification Card or ability to take company course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Duty: train and supervise team with management, maintain standards and a safe working environment.
• Assist ordering and receiving products.
• Open or close shifts, monitor attendance, breaks, shift reports, waste log, and restaurant emails.
