Job summary

Agility Partners is seeking an experienced CIS Test Lead for a major SAP IS-U implementation with a leading utility client in the United States. You will own the end-to-end testing strategy across SIT, UAT, and go-live, coordinating with the System Integrator and business stakeholders to ensure a high-quality deployment.

The role requires deep utility industry testing expertise and the ability to lead multi-workstream efforts from planning through stabilization, ensuring risk mitigated outcomes

Qualifications

• Lead end-to-end CIS testing strategy for SAP IS-U implementation.
• Coordinate testing across SIT, regression, UAT, cutover, and post-deployment validation.
• Partner with System Integrator on test strategy, plans, schedules and exit criteria.
• Provide testing governance addressing business risk and transformation objectives.
• Ensure test coverage across SAP IS-U CIS ecosystem: accounts, billing, payments, metering, and customer service.
• Coordinate integrations with AMI/MDM, payments, contact centers, digital channels, and finance systems.

Job description

Our client, a leading utility organization undergoing a large-scale Customer Information System (CIS) transformation, is seeking an experienced CIS Test Lead to own the end-to-end testing strategy for a major SAP IS-U implementation. This role will provide critical testing leadership and governance across the full meter-to-cash lifecycle, partnering closely with the System Integrator and business stakeholders to ensure a high-quality, risk-mitigated deployment. The ideal candidate will bring deep utility industry testing expertise and the ability to lead complex, multi-workstream testing efforts from planning through go-live and stabilization.

• Lead the end-to-end CIS testing strategy and execution across SIT, regression testing, UAT, cutover validation, and post-deployment validation.
• Partner with the System Integrator to develop, review, challenge, and align test strategies, plans, schedules, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, and entry/exit criteria.
• Provide utility-side testing leadership and governance to ensure testing activities appropriately address business risk, solution complexity, and transformation objectives.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across SAP IS-U and the CIS ecosystem, including customer accounts, billing, payments, collections, metering, customer service, and meter-to-cash business processes.
• Coordinate testing of integrations with AMI/MDM, payment platforms, contact center solutions, digital channels, reporting platforms, finance systems, field operations, and other upstream and downstream applications.
• Establish and maintain requirements-to-test traceability, ensuring requirements, designs, test cases, execution results, and defects are measurable and connected.
