We have an excellent opportunity for a Testing Engineer with our client. Please note that this is NOT a Software Testing/QA position. The role focuses on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, power electronics, power converters, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded controller validation.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and validation of power converters
- OPAL-RT experience preferred
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow model development
- Strong understanding of:
- UPS systems
- Power converter control algorithms and state-machine implementation
- Controller-to-HIL interfacing, signal mapping, and I/O configuration
- Real-time simulation and model-based design
- Debugging hardware/software integration issues in real-time simulation environments
- Control systems and embedded controllers
- Firmware validation and embedded system testing
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop breakout/interface boards for integrating power converter controllers with HIL platforms
- Configure and establish OPAL-RT HIL test setups
- Develop and maintain real-time power-circuit HIL models using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow
- Integrate power converter control hardware with HIL environments
- Perform signal conditioning, gain setting, pin mapping, wiring validation, and analog/digital I/O configuration
- Configure and validate communication interfaces
- Analyze test results and prepare validation reports
- Troubleshoot HIL testing issues and collaborate with Control, Firmware, and System Engineering teams
- Support controller algorithm verification, fault injection, and system-level validation

Power Electronics + HIL Testing + OPAL-RT + MATLAB/Simulink + Stateflow + Embedded Controllers + Power Converter/UPS/Inverter Validation

- Java/.NET Software Testing
- Web/API Testing without power-electronics/HIL experience
