Job summary

IDEA Public Schools in Texas is seeking a Testing Coordinator to ensure all students take the appropriate tests in a secure, supportive environment. You will partner with teachers, campus leaders, and IT to organize testing logistics, accommodations, and training, enabling data-driven decisions that advance college access for scholars.

The role emphasizes meticulous planning, strong communication, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; 48+ college credit hours preferred.
• Educational experience preferred, testing experience valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% of students take all appropriate tests with approved accommodations.
• Coordinate testing schedules, materials, and accommodations with staff.
• Lead campus testing training and communicate testing plans to stakeholders.
• Prepare testing bins 72 hours in advance and verify contents with test administrators.
• Audit accommodations and materials for SPED, ELL, 504, RTI students.
• Collaborate with campus IT to ensure testing systems are ready for online tests.
• Monitor and report testing progress and outcomes to leadership.
