Job summary

Jackson & Correia LLC is seeking an experienced Testing Consultant to review current testing practices and establish a standardized framework for testing types, ownership, responsibilities, documentation, and evidence across Business, Technology, and vendor teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience across functional, system, technical, and non-functional testing, with a background in QA, test governance, automation, and test data management.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA and test governance, process improvement, automation, and test data management.
• Experience defining testing roles, responsibilities, standards, and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review current testing practices, identify gaps, overlaps, and risks.
• Define testing types, their purpose, and when to use them.
• Establish ownership for test creation, execution, review, and approval.
• Define documentation, evidence, and pass/fail standards for testing.
• Develop a Testing Strategy & Approach Playbook and standardized ownership model.
• Recommend improvements around testing methodologies, automation, tooling, and resources.
• Collaborate with PMO, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Create Test Type Inventory, Definitions, and a Testing Ownership framework.
• Develop a Testing Evidence Matrix and Gap Analysis.
• Provide Future-State Testing & Ownership recommendations.
