Job summary

The candidate will contribute to test automation efforts, collaborate with DevOps, and ensure timely reporting of metrics and defects to support project success.

JOB SUMMARY

Ensuring adherence to test practices and processes to improve test coverage. Create and organise testing processes based on project requirements and manage test activities within the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create Test Estimates and Schedules
2. Identify business processes, conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage
3. Ensure adherence of processes and standards
4. Produce test results, defect reports, test logs and reports for evidence of testing
5. Publish RCA reports and preventive measures
6. Report progress of testing
7. Contribute for revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method
8. Ensure quality of Deliverables
9. Report project metrics and status
10. Understand and contribute to test automation/performance testing
11. Work with DevOps team, when required, to understand testing framework and QA process for implementing continuous testing
12. Ensure utilization and quality of deliverables prepared by the team
13. Coordinate Test Environment and Test Data provisioning
14. Prepare Test Summary Report for modules/features
15. Analyse, Prioritize, Identify Gaps and create workflow diagrams based on requirements/user stories
16. Participate in Test management
17. Prepare Estimate, Schedule, Identify dependencies
18. Consume, Contribute, Review (Best Practices, Lesson learned, Retrospective)
19. Test Plan preparation, Test Case/Script Creation, Test Execution
20. Identification of risk/issues and prepare Mitigation and Contingency plans
21. Conduct root cause and trend analysis of the defects
22. Identify the test scenarios with understanding of systems, interfaces and application
23. Identify end-to-end business critical scenarios with minimal support
24. Create/Review the test scenarios and prepare RTM
25. Prepare estimates (time/effort) based on the requirements/User stories
26. Identify scope of testing
27. Define KPIs for the engagement and ensure adherence to these KPIs
28. Handle monthly/weekly governance calls and represent issues for the team
