Job summary

Modular Power Solutions (MPS) is seeking a Manager, Testing and Commissioning in McKinney, TX. This mid-level management role oversees the Testing & Commissioning team, ensuring testing protocols align with production requirements and that documentation is complete and compliant.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and at least 10 years of QA/testing/commissioning experience, preferably in electrical construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in quality assurance and/or testing and commissioning, preferably in electrical construction.
• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and testing methods.
• Travel 100% between MPS production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the execution of testing and commissioning protocols to ensure alignment with production requirements.
• Provides operational oversight and direction of daily Testing & Commissioning team.
• Directs workload, professional development, and client development skills of the Testing & Commissioning staff.
• Establishes and implements all testing and commissioning documentation and record keeping for the Offsite Manufacturing program.
• Supervises Equipment Specifications, BOMs, Submittals, and Project Installation Specifications.
• Develops, maintains, and implements the Material and Equipment Testing Plan.
• Creates and supervises the procedure to verify installation and performance meet design requirements.
• Validates and ensures installation and performance meet design requirements.
• Manages the inspection request process with third-party inspection teams.
