Job summary

Baylor University is seeking a First Line Testing Support and Student Guidance role within the OALA Testing Center in the United States. The position focuses on handling day-to-day student inquiries, managing the Testing Center email inbox, and coordinating routine testing logistics to ensure a smooth testing experience for students and workers.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with relevant experience, and must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and <1 year relevant work experience required.
  • Master's degree and 1 year relevant work experience preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first line support resource for students using the OALA Testing Center. Respond to routine student questions about testing procedures, scheduling, testing requests, rescheduling, exam logistics, and established processes.
  • Monitor and manage the Testing Center email inbox; sort, prioritize and triage messages to the appropriate staff member.
  • Coordinate routine accommodated exam logistics, including scheduling testing rooms and assisting with exam preparation and materials.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to student workers and maintain accurate records and documentation related to exam scheduling and testing center activity.
