Job Title: Testing Assistant

Location: Bedford, MA

Duration: 6+ months (Possibility of Extension)

Working Hours:

Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm (flexible based on commute)

Education/Experience:

Associate degree with 1-3 years’ experience preferable in Biotechnology or working in a laboratory or life sciences environment.

Job Description:

Works in sterile processing, prepping and preparing biocoat and reagent tooling and utensils, along with autoclaving.

Works in a team environment following schedule and timing processes to clean and sterilize tooling.

Job Duties:

• Performs standard mixtures of cleaning products for sterile processes.
• Follows washing and drying schedules according to sterile requirements per SOP.
• May assist in quality control testing on various issues.
• Interacts with Quality Assurance to identify non-conformance issues.
• Uses autoclave schedule to perform sterile processing transactions.
• Assembles kits and performs simple vialing and media production.
• Uses ERP system to perform production transactions.
• Participates in plant activities including Kaizens and 5S blitzes.

Working Conditions:

• Working in wet and open spaces, including clean rooms, general labs, autoclaves, and cold rooms (-8°C), with required PPE.
• Frequently lifts/moves objects up to 25 pounds; may handle hazardous materials in controlled environments.
