Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc. in Delaware seeks a warehouse inspector to support fulfillment and reverse logistics processes. You will remove tapes and labels, inspect products, test components, and verify product documentation against job forms.

Attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential for this highly repetitive role. You'll ensure packaging is clean, all accessories are present, and any upgrades are accurately reflected with new stickers.

Responsibilities

• Check that all machine accessories are present before sealing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize a heat gun to carefully remove tapes, seals, labels, and unnecessary tags from retail boxes.
• Conduct thorough inspections of products for any visible scratches, cracks, or damages.
• Test software, hardware and computer accessories.
• Receive customized products and verify whether the information on the products matches that on the job forms.
• Clean the surface of the products to ensure there are no fingerprints or stains.
• Ensure all machine accessories are present before packaging and securely seal boxes.
• Apply new stickers to cover previous information after product upgrades.
• Regularly inspect cleaning equipment to maintain optimal condition and usage.

Job Requirements

• Basic understanding of electronic components, systems, and hardware is preferred but not mandatory.
• A highly repetitive, fast-paced, standardized operational role that requires strong execution, a low tolerance for errors, and consistent’ long-term performance.
• Experience in repairing, disassembling, and assembling electronic devices is advantageous but not required.
• Possess strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read fonts as small as 8pt on hardware components.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Physical capability to move electronic products weighing up to 30lbs.
