Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our North America operations. You will receive, count, and move packages, pick orders, prepare shipments, and maintain accurate records; forklift operation and adherence to safety are valued.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and apply policies and procedures.
• Ability and willingness to coordinate with upstream/downstream workflow.
• Able to move & lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Basic knowledge of computers and keyboard typing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count packages accurately; register in the system.
• Operate pallet jacks to move packages within the warehouse.
• Sort products and place them on racks and shelves.
• Prepare and pick stock orders; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform data entry tasks and update product information.
• Package products and apply shipping labels for outbound orders.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a safe, clean warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accurately receive and count packages, ensuring proper registration in the system and timely transportation.

2. Proficiently operate both manual and electric pallet jacks to transfer packages to designated locations within the warehouse.

3. Efficiently sort products and arrange them on appropriate racks and shelves according to established procedures and deadlines.

4. Follow work orders meticulously to accurately prepare and pick stock orders, maintaining high levels of order accuracy and timeliness.

5. Utilize basic computer skills to perform data entry tasks and update product information as instructed, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory management.

6. Execute outbound processes, including packaging products and ensuring accurate application of shipping labels.

7. Flexibly undertake any additional tasks or projects assigned by the immediate supervisor, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute to overall warehouse success.

8. Facilitate productive collaboration among team members and various departments to enhance warehouse efficiency, promoting a harmonious and supportive workplace atmosphere. Ensure the maintenance of a safe and clean warehouse environment.
