Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an assistant to test computers and various electronics for functionality, wipe data, and prep devices for future use. The work involves Windows and Apple devices and requires comfort with multiple software tools.

The role is temp to hire with a regular Monday–Friday day schedule in Plainfield, Indiana. Candidates should be tech-savvy with ongoing IT studies or certifications and experience with device administration or repair.

Qualifications

• Tech-savvy; comfortable with computers and hardware.
• Experience with administration/repair of Windows or Apple devices.
• Proficient with multiple software programs and general troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Test computers and electronics for functionality (Windows, Apple devices).
• Wipe data from computers and prepare for future use.
• Identify software/hardware that is not functioning and report findings.

Our client is a distributor of information technology products. In your role you will be testing computers, laptops, mobile devices, ipads, iphones, tablets, macbooks, etc. for functionality, removing remote management software, and setting them up for future use.

Responsibilities:

Test computers and electronics for functionality. (Windows, Apple and Macbook electronics)

Wipe data from computers.

Identify software/hardware that is not functioning.

Work Type:

Temp to hire

Shift:

Monday - Friday, Day shift

Location:

Plainfield, Indiana

Qualifications:

• Tech-savvy - if you like to build your own computers, or you are currently working on technical certifications or going to school for informatics or a related field you may be a great fit.
• Experience with administration/repair of Windows OR Apple devices.
• Proficient on a computer, comfortable using multiple software
