Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a hands-on Test Technician to operate automated testing equipment, verify device performance, and document results. The role focuses on accuracy and daily productivity in a production environment.

You'll work with computers and electronic devices, following established procedures to ensure consistent testing and data recording. This position emphasizes reliability and technical inclination over advanced repair experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with computers, laptops, electronics or electronic devices.
• Comfortable connecting and working with computer hardware and peripherals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter/record information accurately.
• Experience with computer testing, IT support, electronics, computer repair, refurbishment or technical production is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to follow repetitive step-by-step processes while maintaining accuracy.

Test computers and electronic devices using automated testing equipment to verify proper operation and identify failed units. This is a hands‑on, production-based position requiring accuracy, attention to detail and comfort working with computers throughout the day.

Job Duties:

• Connect computers/electronic devices to automated testing equipment
• Run established testing procedures and review pass/fail results
• Identify and document failed devices
• Route failed units to Repair Technicians
• Accurately enter and track testing information
• Clean, handle and prepare electronic devices as needed
• Meet daily productivity and quality expectations

Experience Required:

• Previous hands‑on experience with computers, laptops, electronics or electronic devices
• Comfortable connecting and working with computer hardware and peripherals
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter/record information accurately
• Experience with computer testing, IT support, electronics, computer repair, refurbishment or technical production strongly preferred
• Must be able to follow repetitive step‑by‑step processes while maintaining accuracy

Important: This is not a PC Repair Technician position. Advanced computer repair experience is not required; we're looking for someone technically inclined who can learn the testing process quickly and perform it accurately and consistently.
