About the Role

Our client, a highly respected entity within the Videojuegos y Esports landscape, is searching for an experienced and seasoned Tester de Videojuegos Principal . This position is entirely remote , enabling you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in Mexico . We are seeking a leader who can guide testing efforts, mentor junior testers, and significantly influence the quality assurance strategy for our upcoming titles. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex testing methodologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality game experiences. You will play a pivotal role in the pre-release phase, ensuring our games meet and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of advanced test strategies and test plans.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA testers, providing training and support.
• Oversee the identification, documentation, and tracking of complex software defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and production, to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Define and implement QA best practices and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of test results and provide comprehensive reports to management.
• Champion quality initiatives throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform complex regression testing and performance testing.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging QA technologies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in video game testing, with a significant portion in a lead or principal role.
