Placements24 seeks a meticulous Video Game Quality Verifier to join a fully remote team. Based in Mexico, you will execute detailed test plans, identify defects, and ensure our games meet quality standards across PC and consoles.

You will collaborate with developers and designers, document results clearly, and help improve QA processes while working autonomously in a remote setting. A passion for games and strong problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Verifier or similar QA role in the video game industry.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency with bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• A deep passion for video games and familiarity with a wide range of game genres.
• Experience testing on PC and/or console platforms is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed test plans and test cases to verify game functionality, performance, and compatibility.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard bug-tracking software.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that bug fixes are effective and do not introduce new issues.
