The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of competitive gaming meta, network infrastructure, and experience using bug tracking tools like Jira.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute testing protocols for esports titles focusing on balance and fairness.
• Identify and document exploits, glitches, and issues affecting competitive play.

• Evaluate game mechanics and balance from a competitive perspective.
• Simulate high-stress multiplayer scenarios to identify bottlenecks.

You will be instrumental in identifying gameplay exploits, network latency issues, matchmaking fairness, and other critical factors that impact professional play. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of competitive gaming meta, network infrastructure, and a meticulous approach to testing under pressure. Key Responsibilities

• Execute rigorous testing protocols for esports titles, focusing on competitive balance and fairness.
• Identify, document, and analyze exploits, glitches, and exploits that could affect competitive play.

• Evaluate game mechanics, character abilities, and item balance from a competitive standpoint.
• Simulate high-stress multiplayer scenarios to identify performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Collaborate closely with game designers and developers to provide insights for competitive improvements.
• Document findings with detailed technical analysis, including reproduction steps and impact assessment.
• Test anti-cheat systems and security measures to ensure fair play.
• Stay current with the evolving esports landscape, meta shifts, and competitive trends.
• Provide feedback on spectator modes, replay systems, and broadcast integrations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video game testing, with a significant focus on competitive or esports titles.
• Deep understanding of competitive gaming meta, strategy, and player psychology.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, latency, and multiplayer synchronization issues.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and analytical software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• A passion for esports and a history of participating in or following competitive gaming scenes.
