General Dynamics - Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a Tester Apprentice in Colchester, VT to support acceptance testing of advanced weapon systems. You will assist in assembly, perform testing, and help with inspections of equipment, while maintaining safety and SOP compliance.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of technical training preferred. You’ll work on-site in a team, operating basic equipment and collaborating with engineering and quality groups.

The Tester Apprentice primary role is to perform acceptance testing of industry leading weapon system technology. This includes assembly and inspections of weapon systems and handling ammunition. Additional responsibilities include equipment operation and general maintenance of vehicles, buildings and grounds.
Required Education: High School Diploma, GED
Desired Education: 1-2 years of technical and/or equivalent trade school training
Skills/Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have mechanical assembly experience working with hand tools; basic equipment operation; ability to work in a team environment; effective communication; adhere to written procedures; be motivated and self-directed.

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
