E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test & Troubleshooting Engineer to support testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of shipboard MCS, DC, and Network Systems for NSWCPD Code 513, covering CVN68, CVN78, Columbia, FF(X), Amphibious, FMS, and USCG platforms.

The role requires leadership in test plans, on-site shipboard work, and collaboration with the Prime Contractor and government TPOC/COR to ensure compliant and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required.
• 10 years engineering experience with 5 years PLC testing/troubleshooting.
• 5 years technical writing for test procedures and installation docs.
• 3 years USCG Polar Star or comparable heavy icebreaker exposure.
• 3 years waterfront representative at civilian/military shipyards.
• U.S. Citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop/execute test plans for MCS, DC, and network systems.
• Document faults and perform configuration management per SEP CMP.
• Develop SCD/ECP packages and maintenance docs.
• Provide shipboard installation, troubleshooting, and test plans.

Position Overview

Seeking a Senior Test & Troubleshooting Engineer with technical writing expertise to support testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of shipboard MCS, DC, and Network Systems for NSWCPD Code 513, supporting CVN68, CVN78, Columbia, FF(X), Amphibious, FMS, and USCG platforms.

This is a Key Personnel position. Reports to Prime Contractor for HR/administrative matters; receives work direction from Government TPOC/COR.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop/execute test plans and procedures for MCS, DC, and Network Systems
• Document faults/deficiencies; perform configuration management per SEP CMP
• Develop SCD/ECP packages; maintain installation procedures and TDPs
• Provide shipboard installation, troubleshooting, and test assessment plans
• Develop/present technical presentations; maintain tracking sheets (test equipment, POs, calibration)
• Provide shipboard operator/maintenance training; conduct test procedures during shipboard evolutions
• Track failures/issues in SPIR database

Required Qualifications

• Education: BS in Engineering
• Certification: None required
• Experience: 10 yrs engineering; 5 yrs PLC testing/troubleshooting; 5 yrs technical writing (test procedures, installation/rip-out docs, technical manuals); 3 yrs USCGC POLAR STAR (WAGB-10) or comparable USCG heavy icebreaker; 3 yrs waterfront representative at civilian/military shipyards
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
• Security: Secret eligible
• Language: Fluent English

Preferred: Nimitz (CVN-68) or comparable CVN class MCS experience; LBES/LBTF integration; active Secret clearance

Work Conditions: M-F, 0600-1800; OT pre-approved; limited telework; CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required; 92% onsite at NSWCPD Philadelphia
