Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our testing group in Wisconsin. You will troubleshoot and perform failure analysis, supporting the Testing Department to resolve production test challenges and improve quality within our Smart Manufacturing environment.

You will work with Test Engineers on station configuration, develop SOPs, and ensure documentation remains up-to-date while maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Core Responsibilities

• Resolve complex production test problems escalated by Repair Technicians and communicate findings to Test Engineers.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting on testing fixtures.
• Ensure optimal performance of testing stations through regular monitoring.
• Develop standardized operating procedures to guide manufacturing test operators and testers.
• Maintain and revise documentation for testing operations and SOPs.
• Support the team by tracking and logging test failures and issues to improve overall quality.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers on test station configuration, including modeling and pilot run execution.

Required Qualifications

• Up to two years of experience working with printed circuit board assembly standards and methodologies.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in interpreting test logs.
• Foundational knowledge of Linux and UNIX environments.
• Experience working with networking hardware like switches.
• Familiarity with computer components such as NICs, CPUs, and memory.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of various electrical components.
• Capacity to maintain productivity and meet objectives under high-pressure deadlines.
• Physical capability to lift weights up to 40 pounds during your shift.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and occasional climbing.
• Adherence to safety protocols to mitigate risks associated with the production environment.
• Possession of necessary vision skills, including depth perception, color identification, and focus adjustment.
