AMOT Controls is seeking a Test Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing functional tests on subassemblies and final products. This hands-on role works closely with our assembly and engineering staff in a Houston area facility.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or Industrial Maintenance and practical experience with electrical controls, instrumentation, and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Strong computer skills (LabVIEW or similar systems) and documentation software.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial controls, instrumentation, and safety standards.

Aufgaben

• Perform test cycle operations for pre and post screening for burn-in process.
• Utilize PC to load correct firmware per work instructions.
• Document test results and generate reports as requested.
• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with motors, control panels, sensors, wiring, and automated systems.
• Support equipment installation, calibration, and upgrades.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and utilize computerbased tools for work orders and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

AMOT Controls is a leading manufacturer of custom engineered valves and controls for engines, turbines and compressors. This includes thermostatic control valves, air intake shutoff valves for diesel engines, gas fuel control products, etc. A significant portion of AMOT's products is provided to major engines, turbine and compressor OEM's, packagers and dealers.

The AMOT Test Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by performing functional test on subassemblies and final products. This is a hands-on role working closely with our assembly and engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform test cycle operations for pre and post screening for our burn-in process.
• Utilize PC to load correct firmware per work instructions.
• Document test results and generate reports as requested.
• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections on manufacturing equipment.

Working Conditions:The employee will work in a Manufacturing and laboratory test environment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate (office) to loud (production area). The employee may be exposed to fumes from chemicals and soldering glues in the manufacturing areas.
