Job summary

MGA Research Corporation is seeking a full-time Entry Level Test Technician in Manassas, Virginia. You will work with engineers and customers in a hands-on testing environment, gathering data, configuring tests, and reporting results.

The role involves documenting tests with photos and high-speed video, installing instrumentation, and coordinating with teams and global customers. Prior tools experience and a willingness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Experience with general computer operation and ability to learn new software
• Keen attention to detail, coupled with a strong ability to identify errors
• Ability to “self-start” and take on responsibility

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and customers in a “hands on” environment to conduct tests from setup, gathering measurements and data, configuring tests, and reporting
• Document tests digitally by capturing clear photos and high-speed video footage
• Install instrumentation, test gear, and assorted components aligning with engineering specifications
• Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and global customers
