EVONA is partnering with an innovative space and aerospace technology company looking for a hands-on Test Technician II – Antenna to join its growing engineering and test team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with antenna systems, RF hardware, test equipment, and complex electronics in a fast-paced development environment.
You'll work closely with engineers to support antenna range operations, build and maintain test setups, execute antenna measurement campaigns, troubleshoot equipment, and deliver accurate test results.
What You'll Be Doing
- Execute antenna and antenna range test plans and report findings.
- Configure and operate anechoic chambers, antenna ranges, positioners, RF cabling, and test equipment.
- Set up and align antennas, fixtures, instrumentation, and devices under test.
- Support near-field and far-field antenna measurements.
- Assist with antenna pattern, gain, polarization, and RF performance testing.
- Work with equipment including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, DMMs, power meters, and DAQ systems.
- Troubleshoot RF cabling, instrumentation, test setups, and range configurations.
- Support calibration and verification of RF/antenna test equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and repeatable test environments.
- Follow test procedures and provide feedback to improve documentation and test processes.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience as an Antenna Technician, RF Test Technician, Engineering Technician, Electronics Technician, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with RF systems, antenna systems, or active electronics.
- Comfortable working with technical test equipment and instrumentation.
- Experience with antenna measurements or antenna range operations is highly desirable.
- Exposure to phased arrays/AESA systems would be a major advantage.
- Experience with RF cabling, mechanical fixtures, and hardware integration.
- Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, diagrams, and test procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced engineering environment.
