Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Test Technician II – RF to join the Engineering – Test team in Westminster, Colorado. You will work hands-on with RF electronics and AESA technology, building test setups and executing test plans.

This role emphasizes troubleshooting, reporting, and collaboration with engineers, using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and other lab equipment to deliver reliable RF test results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct related experience as an Engineering, RF, Electronics, or Test Technician.
• Hands-on experience with active electronics.
• Experience using laboratory equipment such as DMMs and power meters.
• Exposure to VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators is highly desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware with engineering direction.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering test plans and report results.
• Build, configure, and support RF and antenna test setups.
• Operate electronic and RF lab instrumentation.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of complex electronics and RF circuitry.
• Handle sensitive components including QFNs, chip-scale ICs, RF cables, and 0201 passives.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
• Maintain antenna testing facilities and lab resources.
• Produce detailed and organized test documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve hardware and test issues.
• Support repeatable and well-documented lab configurations.
