Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Test Technician II to handle complex testing scenarios, conduct detailed analysis, and troubleshoot advanced issues. This role collaborates with engineering teams to improve test procedures and product quality in a dynamic environment.

The position emphasizes calibration, documentation, and participation in cross-functional meetings to discuss outcomes, with potential travel and a requirement to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience as a technician or in a related field.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Basic understanding of test concepts and techniques.
• General experience with standard laboratory test, calibration, and other measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex testing scenarios.
• Perform detailed analysis and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues.
• Improve test procedures based on findings.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Assist in the development of new testing protocols.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Document and report anomalies or deviations during testing.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss test outcomes.
