Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Test Technician V to perform routine to advanced tests on spacecraft components and systems. The role requires interpreting procedures, configuring test setups, and reporting results with precision.

The candidate should have extensive test experience, familiarity with calibration, ATE, and test software, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment. Top Secret clearance is required and relocation to Colorado may apply.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience.
• Experience with flight hardware safety and handling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Expert proficiency using basic test equipment and fixtures.
• Ability to lead advanced test setup and execution tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, advanced, and novel tests on spacecraft components and systems.
• Set up complex test configurations using tools and instrumentation.
• Document test results and verify against procedures.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers to develop procedures and improvements.
• Lead a Work Center or SME in testing activities.
• Provide input to Test Engineers for configurations and procedures.
