Job summary

Plexus Corp in Idaho is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to ensure the quality and reliability of Plexus products by operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment. The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and adherence to manufacturing processes.

You will implement solutions, support production line operators, and uphold safety and risk awareness while contributing to efficient testing and product quality across the Plexus manufacturing system.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 2+ years of related experience preferred, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops / executes manufacturing solutions and provides services that are high-quality and cost-appropriate, meeting customer requirements.
• Uses tools to perform documentation, programs, models, processes, or production tasks.
• Understands Plexus manufacturing processes, product requirements and cross-discipline coordination as needed.
• Supports direct production line operators and adheres to good manufacturing practices.
• Maintains equipment/process control, safety, risk awareness and setup awareness in daily work.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Salary Range:

$48,500.00 - $72,700.00

Work Shift: This position is available on A Shift ( Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 12 hours, 6:00AM-6:00PM)

Purpose Statement:

To ensure the quality and reliability of Plexus products by meticulously operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment. Through collaborative problem-solving and continuous learning, strive to maintain efficient testing processes, identify and resolve product defects, and ultimately contribute to exceeding customer expectations and supporting Plexus's commitment to quality.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions / Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Comprehensive Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
