Job summary

Plexus Corp in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of Plexus products by meticulously operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment. You will collaborate across teams to resolve defects and improve processes.

The role requires an Associate's Degree with 4+ years of related experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to mentor others while adhering to GMP and Plexus processes. On-site work with competitive benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

  • Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions that are high-quality and cost-appropriate, mentoring others on the team.
  • Guides use of tools to perform work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, and processes.
  • Serves as a technical/project team lead across Plexus Manufacturing processes and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Leads others while aligning with GMP and Plexus Processes and supports production line operators.
  • Expertise in Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$49,400.00 - $74,000.00

Purpose Statement: To ensure the quality and reliability of Plexus products by meticulously operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment. Through collaborative problem-solving and continuous learning, strive to maintain efficient testing processes, identify and resolve product defects, and ultimately contribute to exceeding customer expectations and supporting Plexus's commitment to quality.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions / Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty and mentoring others on the team (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
  • Guiding use of appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
  • Serves as a technical and/or project team lead with discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead others, executing responsibilities in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
  • Expertise in Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree with 4 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
