Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to read schematics and troubleshoot down to component level.
• Experience with DMM, oscilloscope, signal generator, and spectrum analyzer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints, guidelines, or diagrams to meet product specifications and tolerances.
• Perform functional testing per established procedures and record data.
• Document acceptance or failure results and maintain test records.
• Operate hand tools, electrical/mechanical test equipment, and calibration devices.
• Load/unload electronic equipment in test beds and ensure safety compliance.

What You Will Do

• Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met
• Performs functional testing per part specific pre-established test procedure.
• Monitors tests through completion, record test data, and service test equipment as required.
• Documents acceptance or failure results.
• Demonstrates proper use of simple hand/machine tools, electronic/manual test equipment and mechanical measuring devices.
• Performs proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment in test beds.
• Complies with applicable elements of quality systems and participates in continuous improvement efforts (ACE).
• Meets internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team
• Acquires applicable skill/knowledge/certification as required.
• Complies with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.
• Follows plans for production schedules and quality requirements.
• Understands end use of manufactured products.
• Proficiently uses computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
• Demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.

Qualifications You Must Have

• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Typically requires HS Diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer

• AS in Electronics Technology education/degree RF, Digital, Analog Circuit experience
• Ability to read schematics
• Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, & Spectrum Analyzer
• Basic component level troubleshooting experience
