Job description

The Test Technician I performs standard testing processes on various equipment and analyzes the results. The technician will be responsible for test and fault isolation to ensure conformance with product specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Run automated tests and be able to comprehend the results.
  • Follow process guides and work instructions.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a related field of study.
  • 0-1 years' experience as a technician or in a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.
  • Familiarity with technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
  • Familiarity with test concepts and techniques, and test standard lab equipment.
  • Basic understanding of test equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree with a focus on electronics.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • RF troubleshooting and testing experience.
  • Board‑level diagnostics.
  • Background in the aerospace and defense industry, the U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance.
Essential Functions
  • Perform testing processes on equipment, including the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Conduct fault isolation and troubleshooting, requiring hand/finger dexterity.
  • Analyze and document test results, spending significant time on computers.
  • Work in potentially hazardous or loud environments, following safety protocols.
  • Ability to travel may be required.
  • For office roles, capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
