Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking Test Technicians for roles in Whitsett, NC. This position supports manufacturing test operations in a production environment, collaborating with engineering and production teams to test, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement of hardware and systems.

The Test Technician will help maintain test setups, assist with NPI testing, and document results, defects, and performance data while adhering to quality, safety, and ESD procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, electronics, or testing environments.
• Basic understanding of hardware, electronics, or computer systems.
• Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and system interaction.
• Ability to stand for long periods and safely handle components.

Responsibilities

• Support daily test operations to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting hardware and basic software issues during testing.
• Work with engineering teams to identify root causes of test failures.
• Support test setup, configuration, and maintenance of test equipment.
• Assist in maintaining test systems, including servers, code, and infrastructure.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) testing and product lifecycle activities.
• Track and document test results, defects, and performance data.
• Assist in improving test processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Support installation and calibration of functional and reliability test equipment.
• Follow all quality, safety, and ESD handling procedures.
