Job summary

MGA Research Corporation in Greer, SC is seeking a career-oriented Entry Level Test Technician to support automotive and lab testing. You will work hands-on with engineers and customers, set up tests, collect data, document results, and report findings.

You will handle instrumentation, operate test gear, and ensure experiments align with engineering specifications while learning new software and growing within a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience with general computer operation and ability to learn new software.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
• Ability to self-start and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and customers in a hands-on environment to conduct tests from setup, gather measurements and data, configure tests, and report results.
• Document tests digitally by capturing photos and high-speed video footage.
• Install instrumentation, test gear, and components aligning with engineering specifications.
• Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and global customers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with engineers and customers in a “hands on” environment to conduct tests from setup, gathering measurements and data, configuring tests, and reporting
• Document tests digitally by capturing clear photos and high-speed video footage
• Install instrumentation, test gear, and assorted components aligning with engineering specifications
• Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and global customers

Requirements & Skills:
