Job summary

MGA Research Corporation in Greer, SC is seeking an entry level Test Technician for a full-time, hands-on role supporting engineers and customers in automotive and lab testing.

You will set up tests, collect measurements, document results with photos and video, install instrumentation, and collaborate with global teams. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience with general computer operation and ability to learn new software.
• Keen attention to detail, coupled with a strong ability to identify errors.
• Ability to "self-start" and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and customers in a hands-on environment to conduct tests from setup, gathering measurements and data, configuring tests, and reporting.
• Document tests digitally by capturing clear photos and high-speed video footage.
• Install instrumentation, test gear, and assorted components aligning with engineering specifications.
• Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and global customers.
