Shift: 2nd shift

Schedule: Must be able to work a monthly rotating schedule between 3:00 PM and 2:00 AM, including overtime and weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Pay Rate: $24.35/hour plus shift premium. Paid weekly.

Position Summary: This role involves overseeing sanitation practices, inspecting equipment and product cleanliness, maintaining ISO records, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, including working with various meat products and potential allergens.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform physical and visual inspections, document and analyze results accurately.
  2. Take corrective actions and report non-conformance issues.
  3. Review records for accuracy and completeness.
  4. Investigate non-conformance issues, isolate non-conforming products, and identify causes.
  5. Report quality and food safety issues promptly.
  6. Inspect products for compliance with specifications and legal requirements.
  7. Follow USDA, company policies, and procedures.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  9. Ensure safety for self and others, including food safety.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or food safety & quality assurance.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in data entry, analysis, and email.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skills in paperwork, leadership, problem-solving, math, and organization.
  • Ability to interpret product specifications and work under stress.
  • Physical ability to lift 70+ lbs, stand for long hours, work in various temperatures and environments, and climb ladders.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
  • Lock Out Tag Out certification required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must reside in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
