Responsibilities
- Build, assemble, and test electronic components following engineering specifications and work instructions.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and repair components under the direction of engineering staff.
- Perform testing using standard equipment and document results accurately.
- Analyze test results and report findings to support engineering projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical documentation.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and maintaining materials and parts.
- Document testing procedures, equipment information, and specifications.
- Build and modify prototypes from sketches, drawings, and engineering concepts.
- Support additional engineering and production projects as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, production, technical support, or a related environment preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and work instructions.
- Intermediate math skills and comfort working with measurements and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with small components and tools.
- Positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow within the organization.
