Job summary

HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær is seeking a Calibration Technician to perform pre-calibration and calibration duties per product specifications in an on-site California facility. You will use specialized pre-calibration software, perform data recording, and support production demands in a clean, safe environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in electromechanical assembly, schematic reading, and IPC-A-620 certification.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electromechanical assembly experience.
• Must read and understand assembly drawings.
• Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot cable assemblies.
• Advanced reading, writing, and shop math skills.
• Experience soldering miniature parts under a microscope.
• IPC-A-620 certification.

Professional Qualifications

• Use of simple hand tools such as crimpers and ovens.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
