Job summary

LeoForce in Littleton, CO is seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Test Technician to support aerospace testing activities. You will conduct environmental tests, inspect parts, and contribute to process improvements within a structured team.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing with common tools and documentation tasks, offering meaningful work and opportunities for career growth in a leading space hardware firm.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in aerospace or engineering.
  • Familiarity with aerospace assembly and inspection tools (torque wrenches, load cells, calipers, gauges, multimeters).
  • Experience writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred).
  • Experience in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
  • Experience using electronics equipment (DMMs, power supplies, DAQs, etc.).

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration
  • Inspecting mechanical and electrical components after test completion to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
  • Assisting with non-conformance investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Utilizing common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
  • Assisting in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility for all team members.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
