Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a testing technician to support our warehouse and quality control teams. The role involves testing electronics and consumer devices, using a PDA, and sustaining a high daily test volume while keeping errors to a minimum.

The ideal candidate will have basic electronics knowledge, be able to stand for extended periods, lift 5–50 lbs, and pay close attention to detail. Company offers benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of teamwork experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronic products.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move items weighing 5–50 lbs.
• Ability to read fonts as small as 8 pt on hardware.
• High attention to detail and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing on products including laptops and vacuums.
• Skillfully navigate and utilize PDA (Portable Data Assistant).
• Complete over 80 power tests daily.
• Maintain an error rate of less than two units per day.
• Perform other tasks/projects as assigned by supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct testing on a variety of products, including laptops, vacuums, and more.

2. Skillfully navigate and utilize PDA （Portable Data Assistant）

3. Complete over 80 power tests daily.

4. Maintain an error rate of less than two units per day.

5. Any other tasks/projects assigned by the immediate supervisor.
