Imautomation is seeking a detail-oriented Test Support Specialist in City of Tonawanda, New York. The role involves supporting machine testing activities, performing mechanical and electrical testing, and calibrating required instruments.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, along with a bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Available to travel up to 25%, including internationally.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and documentation processes.
• Experience supporting customer-facing training or demonstrations.
• Experience with refrigeration systems.
• Experience with validation and testing procedures for complex industrial equipment.
• Interest in improving product quality and optimizing testing processes.

JOB SUMMARY

• Record, document, and maintain test data; support ISO 9000 documentation as needed.
• Identify and correct faulty components and test failures.
• Detect and resolve software‑related malfunctions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment quality.
• Verify that nameplates, safety labels, and documentation are correctly applied, and that the equipment is ready for shipment.
• Support the Project Manager during customer visits and operational training sessions.
• Ensure that all testing procedures are completed in accordance with defined quality requirements.
• Provide finalized test documentation for inclusion in machine manuals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and shop personnel.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
