Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an electronics assembler to perform production assembly and testing in a semiconductor/industrial environment in the United States. You will follow procedures to test and troubleshoot electronic units, ensuring compliance with schedules and performance standards.

The role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and involves calibration, documentation, and adherence to safety and ISO practices. An AAS in electronics and soldering skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in electronics or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing preferred.
• Ability to read technical assembly documentation and schematics.
• Knowledge of ISO practices and procedures.
• Soldering skills highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Uses test procedures, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where the ability to recognize nonconformities is required.
• Understands and follows all safety requirements.
• Understands and follows all ISO practices and procedures.
• Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. May assist with training other AE employees in established processes.
• Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Documents test results accurately.
• May act as the technical interface with other departments.

Compensation: $18-$24/hour Depending on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri (7am - 3:30pm)

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• - AAS degree in electronics or equivalent

What Sets You Apart:

• -Previous experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing preferred.
• -Proven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environment.
• -Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices.
• -Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
• -Soldering skills highly preferred
• -Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
• -Component Identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation and schematics highly preferred.
• -Basic computer knowledge.
• -Basic Knowledge of SAP.
