Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Assembler I for on-site work in Melbourne, FL. You will assemble PCBs, test components, and support the production of electronic assemblies in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires manual dexterity, 2+ years in electro-mechanical assembly, reading instructions, and basic English communication. OT and background check may apply; ITAR considerations are noted.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with fine manual dexterity.
  • Minimum 2 years electro-mechanical assembly in manufacturing.
  • Minimum 1 year bonding/undercoating experience.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings.
  • Basic English communication (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with IPC/ISO9001 and ESD practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components onto PCBs per procedures and visuals.
  • Inspect materials and finished work for quality and standards compliance.
  • Prepare component leads according to IPC and assembly requirements.
  • Identify defective parts and report; maintain work-in-process records.
  • Support production flow: board washing, packing, and clean workspace.

Shift/Schedule(s): 1st shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What You'll Do:
  • Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed procedures and visual instructions
  • Inspect materials and completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards
  • Prepare and pre-form component leads according to IPC standards and assembly requirements
  • Identify and report defective components while maintaining accurate work-in-process within your work cell
  • Support production flow through board washing, packing, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience requiring fine manual dexterity
  • Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with bonding/undercoating

Additional Information:
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
