LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Test Technician position available for our client in the southern Manchester, NJ area. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to expand your semiconductor career within a fast-paced manufacturing industry! The position requires a minimum of two years’ current experience as a semiconductor testing technician and prefers candidates with a strong background using testing equipment such as leak detectors, vacuum pressure, torque testing, and experience with motors like Kollmorgen. Candidates must have experience working with and reading schematics and blueprints.

Salary range: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Testing and troubleshooting seals and semiconductor units.
• Compiling test results.
• Collaborating with assembly, engineering, and repairs departments.
• Utilizing testing equipment such as calypso bench test, high-speed rotation, and torque testing.
• Improving testing fixtures, processes, procedures, tooling, and data collection.
• Documenting, recording, and initiating testing using internal software.
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Following clean room standards.
• Measuring with all relevant quality instruments.
• Familiarity with GD&T.

Requirements:

• Proven current test technician experience with a strong work history in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• At least 2 years’ experience with the testing equipment listed above.
• Familiarity with PLC programming is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret design engineering drawings and create fixtures and tooling from blueprints/schematics.
