Job summary

Base is America’s next-generation power company seeking a Test Systems Technician to build the test infrastructure for hardware and software, from low-voltage harnesses to 240/480V circuits, operating around the clock.

You’ll document every build for rapid replication and work with engineering to decide when to fabricate in-house or outsource, while designing enclosures, mounting brackets, and racks to run continuously. Base is a startup where priorities shift and roles may evolve.

Qualifications

• Hands-on wiring harness construction and documentation.
• Experience wiring low-voltage signal harness and 240/480V circuits.
• Experience designing or fabricating enclosures and racking systems.
• 1–3 years in electrical work or similar hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire test benches and fixtures, from signal-level harnesses to 240/480V power circuits.
• Document every build so a station can be replicated quickly as we add capacity.
• Design and fabricate enclosures, mounting brackets, and racking systems built to run continuously, 24/7
• Decide when to fabricate a part in-house and when to send it out, and ensure it’s built right either way
• Keep test systems running and ready for engineering and automated testing, 24/7
• Follow wiring schematics and match workmanship, safety, and inspection standards to the job.
