Job summary

Base, America’s next-generation power company, is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to build test infrastructure for new hardware and software. You’ll translate engineering designs into physical test benches and fixtures, spanning low-voltage harness work to 240/480V power circuits, and ensure reliability around the clock.

You’ll document every build so future stations can be deployed quickly, collaborate with engineering on what to fabricate in-house, and help scale test capacity as Base

Qualifications

• Hands-on wiring of harnesses from cutting to labeling and documentation.
• Builds low-voltage signal harnesses from schematics and 240/480V power circuits.
• Design or fabricate enclosures, mounting brackets, and racking systems.
• Uses power tools and fabrication equipment safely for continuous operation.
• 1-3 years in electrical work, fabrication, motorsports, aerospace or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire test benches and fixtures, from signal-level harnesses to 240/480V power circuits.
• Document every build so a station can be replicated quickly as we add capacity
• Design and fabricate enclosures, mounting brackets, and racking systems built to run continuously, 24/7
• Decide when to fabricate a part in-house and when to send it out, and make sure it’s built right either way
• Keep test systems running and ready for engineering and automated testing, 24/7
• Follow wiring schematics and match workmanship, safety, and inspection standards to the job - low-voltage signal work and 240/480V power work each have their own
