Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Test Systems Engineer II to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements across multiple engineering teams. You will be a systems thinker, ensuring robustness from component to All-Up-Round and driving efficiency in test design.

The role requires a Master’s in STEM, MBSE experience, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. This is an on-site position with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines within RTX.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM fields required.
• Experience applying systems engineering to test across the product lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of the subsystem and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and implement the subsystem model using MBSE tools and methods.
• Detail capabilities and derive requirements.
• Communicate test equipment needs and requirements to Test Equipment designers.
• Manage requirements and traceability.
• Leverage and reuse Test Environment requirements and models to improve efficiency in test design and development.
• Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture.
• Interact with Technical SMEs to understand subsystems and resolve issues.
