Job summary

DeltaHawk Engines, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer I to design, plan, and manage the test equipment needs of the organization. The role focuses on test method selection, data acquisition systems, and instrumentation, with emphasis on reliability and documentation.

The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team in a hands-on environment to ensure safe, effective testing of engines and related assemblies, while supporting test software and data analysis.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in an engineering discipline, or 4+ years in aerospace/R&D engine testing.
• 2+ years designing test platforms and fixtures for performance and endurance testing.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and reliability of test methods.
• Proficient with CAD tools (SolidWorks) and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and project manage test equipment needs for the organization.
• Ensure a safe test environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide input into designs of test data acquisition and control systems.
• Troubleshoot test equipment issues and support test software systems.
• Create drawings, diagrams and related documentation.
