Job summary

DeltaHawk Engines, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Technician in Racine, WI to support maintenance, repair and testing of aircraft systems. The role involves hands-on work on airframes, engines and avionics, with emphasis on safety, quality and compliance to FAA standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure airworthiness and operational excellence while performing routine teardowns, alignments and system testing. Tools will be provided to enable critical work.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
• Ensure that work performed on aircraft is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Identifies and resolve mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from pilot or crew.
• Handles fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of aircraft systems parts and sub-assemblies, including hydraulic, pneumatic, oxygen, fuel, tubes, flight control, and landing gear components.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, including engine, airframe, avionics, and electrical systems with or without formal troubleshooting documentation.
• Ensure that work performed on aircraft is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Identifies and resolves mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from pilot or crew.
• Handle fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of aircraft systems parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, including hydraulic, pneumatic, oxygen, fuel, aircraft tube fabrication, flight control, and landing gear components, often with minimal supervision.
