The position demands a DOE L clearance, a engineering degree, 6+ years of relevant experience, and cross-training on A1B platform with semiannual travel to NNPP sites. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DOE L clearance or DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college or university.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous A4W qualification as EOOW, PPWO, or EWS.
• Semiannual travel to NNPP sites.
• Ability to cross-train on the A1B platform and learn the simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Support the A4W FITE platform and cross-train to support the A1B FITE platform.
• Certify hardware and software based field changes prior to deployment to FITE sites.
• Focus on plant operations and confirm FITE operational values and responses.
• Support other groups developing field changes leveraging Bettis FITE preproduction units.
