Job summary

Apogee is seeking a Test Service Provider to support the 746th Test Squadron with Electronic Warfare testing services at Holloman AFB, NM. Role includes instrumentation, test, maintenance, and engineering tasks across GPS/INERTIAL testing domains.

Responsibilities cover operating resources, real-time troubleshooting, data collection and analysis, and compliance with government plans and safety procedures. Travel up to 50% CONUS, hourly pay range $22–$25.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate test resources and follow government plans and procedures.
• Troubleshoot test resource issues in real time to meet mission needs.
• Collect and verify data, identify uncertainties, and analyze results.
• Report mission failures or discrepancies promptly to the Test Conductor.
• Provide test and maintenance services in support of mission requirements.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on test resources.
• Maintain squadron equipment per manufacturer recommendations.
• Resolve test resource failures and document deficiencies.
• Fabricate cables, build and assemble systems, integrate subsystems.
• Perform validation checks to keep systems on a common SW baseline.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use and coordinate maintenance.
• Schedule and manage vehicle transport to maintenance facilities.
• Service all vehicles used for the mission within two duty days of completion.
• Complete all AF Form 1800s and related documentation.
• Report all vehicle discrepancies to COR and Squadron VCO promptly.
• Operate support vehicles, including heavy ones, and tow trailers as needed.

Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Test Service Provider to serve the 746th Test Squadron to provide Electronic Warfare support services.

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Test Service Provider to serve the 746th Test Squadron to provide Electronic Warfare support services. In this role, you will provide testing services in support of the 746 TS. Services include instrumentation, test, maintenance, and engineering tasks. 746 TS manages the tri-service GPS Test Center of Expertise (COE) comprised of Army, Navy, and Air Force test agencies chartered to support GPS test and evaluation initiatives. With over 40 years of experience, CIGTF has established itself as a leader in Inertial, GPS, and blended GPS/Inertial component and system testing. In addition, CIGTF's inclusive ground, field, and flight-testing capabilities offer the customer a cost-effective means to evaluate their guidance and navigation systems.

This is a full-time position located on-site at Holloman AFB, NM with up to 50% CONUS travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate test resources and conduct all mission events IAW government-provided program test plans, safety plans, schedules, procedures, and/or annexes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test resource issues in real-time in the field as required to meet mission needs.
• Collect, record, and verify data, including identifying measurement and data uncertainties and providing data analysis recommendations to the Government.
• Report any mission failures, problems, or discrepancies to the Test Conductor as soon as discovered.
• Provide test and maintenance services in support of mission requirements.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance for test resources.
• Provide preventative maintenance on all Squadron Issued Equipment IAW the manufacturer’s recommendations or more frequently if warranted by environmental conditions.
• Resolve and document test resource failures and/or deficiencies IAW Section 4.2.4.6, Deficiency Report.
• Fabricate cables, build and assemble systems, and integrate subsystems.
• Perform validation checks to ensure systems are, to the maximum extent possible, on a common SW baseline as directed by the government.
• Inspect the condition of vehicles before and after each use. Coordinate with the Squadron Vehicle Control Officer (VCO) when general vehicle maintenance needs to be performed.
• Schedule, take, and pick up vehicles to/from maintenance facilities as required.
• Clean and service ALL vehicles utilized for the mission within two duty days of mission completion.
• Complete ALL AF Form 1800s, Operator’s Inspection Guide and Trouble Report, and IAW AF policies and directives.
• Report all vehicle discrepancies to the COR and Squadron VCO within one duty day of observed discrepancy.
• Operate all support vehicles, including vehicles over 26,000 pounds, and/or tow a trailer over 10,000 pounds.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Education: High School Diploma

Years of experience: 4 or more years of relevant experience

Additional Experience

• Experience driving large vehicles and towing equipment required
• Experience supporting the Air Force preferred

Pay Range: This is an hourly position with regular opportunities for overtime. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.
